Welcome to the Walk

Registration, T-shirt table, & Indoor Bathrooms

As you arrive, head from the parking lot into the circle lot with the tree island—registration and t-shirt tables will be on your left, and indoor bathrooms are just inside Radnor Elementary behind them.

Crew Table

This is where the wonderful people that help make the walk special will check in! The crew table is on the right side of the circle parking lot. It is located in front of our Zen Zone and to right in front of the trees that line part of the trail.

Zen Zone

Need a quiet moment? Visit the Zen Zone, located behind the Crew table under the pavilion—note that from 2–2:15pm, the area by the walking trail can be more stimulating*, so playground #1 (behind the Welcome/Merch Table) is a better spot for a sensory break.

Welcome & Connect

Give & Go, Merch Table & More

After passing the T-shirt table and walking through the two black poles, you’ll find the Welcome & Connect table on your right—stop by for walk info or to grab some Philly FC swag!

The Band

There will be a band playing music very close to the start of the walking trail. You’ll see the stage across from the Welcome table and right in front of our Kick-off area. Feel free to hang around and listen to some good music!

Ribbon Cutting & Kick-Off Area

This is our kick-off area in front of the stage, where we’ll gather to get excited before cutting the ribbon by the Welcome & Connect table. It can get loud, so if you need a break, head to the Zen Zone or Playground #1 (2–2:15pm).

Kick-Off & Walk Begins!

Once the ribbon is cut, the walk starts! You’ll see a big crowd of people walking towards the trees to head to the first trail station. It will be very loud with friends cheering and celebrating the walk!

The Trail

This is our walking trail—mostly flat with a few hills and some shaded areas between stations 1 and 2. Watch for narrow paths and a steep hill between stations 2 and 3, and don’t miss the bridge over Matsonford Road for great views and a perfect selfie spot!

Station #1: Bubbles!

Our first stop on the trail! Here you will find a station for friends to have some fun with bubbles! There might be a lot of people here stopping to play! This station is located past the Zen Zone pavilion, just before the curve in trail.

Station #2: Limbo

Station 2 is our limbo stop—join in the fun or walk past if you prefer! It’s just past the curve after station 1, and you’ll hear music playing between stations 2 and 3 to keep the energy up.

Station #3: Love Stickers

Station 3 is just past the music car—grab a Love sticker and watch your step, as the trail narrows with a steep hill to the right (safely blocked off). Continue past the school and follow the curve toward the bridge for the next stop!

Station #4: Selfie on the Bridge!

Station 4 is on the bridge over Matsonford Road—snap a fun selfie with friends! It’s a two-way bridge, so stay aware as you cross to station 5 and then back again toward the finish line.

Station #5: Choose Your Own Adventure

Continue around the soccer field for a longer walk and grab some water at the far-side table before heading back across the bridge to station 6 and the finish line!

Station #6: Hopscotch & Chalk!

Continue around the soccer field for a longer walk and grab some water at the far-side table before heading back across the bridge to station 6 and the finish line!

Head back up towards the redtop and enjoy the fun fair!

Playground #1

One of three playgrounds, located behind the Welcome & Connect table—it's a great quiet spot during the early walk (2–2:15pm) when the Zen Zone may be busier.

Playground #2

One of the three playgrounds locate at our fun fair. This playground is located next to playground #1, on the other side of the clump of trees and next to the basketball courts.

Playground #3

One of the three playgrounds located at our fun fair. This playground is located on the far side of our fun fair, past the inflatables and mini-golf.

Petting Zoo

Our petting zoo is back! It’s between the trees in front of playground #1, behind the Welcome & Connect table—an enclosed area to keep our animal friends safe. Please note, petting and playing can be very stimulating!

Basketball Sports Clinic

Located on the basketball court right next to playground #2. The start time for this clinic is 3:30 pm. Before that, the courts are open for free-play!

Soccer Sports Clinic

Located down on the soccer field past the basketball courts. The start time for this clinic is 3 pm. Before that, the field is open for free-play!

Mini-golf

We’ve got mini-golf this year! The course is located next to (and slightly on) the basketball course closest to the food stands and playground #3. You might smell food from the stands close by.

Bounce House

The bounce houses are near the edge of the fun fair, past the food stands and before playground #3. You’ll walk through most of the fair to get there, and might smell food nearby. Lots of friends will want a turn—everyone will get one!

Obstacle Course

The obstacle course is located down near the edge of the fun fair, past the food stands and next to the bounce houses. There might be a line for the obstacle course. Everyone will take their turn!

Food Stands

If you’re feeling hungry, better take a second to stop here! There will be a line of tents serving yummy food for everyone! The tents are located past the kick-off area, to the side of the vendor tables, and right in front of the back of Radnor Elementary.

Art Studio

Show off your creative side at our Art Studio! Located in the center of the fun fair (on the redtop) just past the kick-off location and before the basketball courts. This activity is in the very center of the fun fair, so expect it to be a little noisy with lots of people!

Face Painting

In the center of the fun fair (on the redtop) between the kick-off area and basketball courts, you’ll find face painting! It’s a busy, lively spot where friends can get cool designs!

Musical “Petting Zoo”

A Sunday Circle favorite! This is near the center circle with other activities. Lots of instruments (guitars, pianos, etc.) will be set up so that friends can try playing a little music at the walk!

Sensory Playdough

In the center of the fun fair (on the redtop) between the kick-off area and basketball courts, you’ll find playdough—a fun sensory activity! It’s a lively, bustling spot with lots of people!
